Scarlett IPA         Released April 14, 2012

 

On April 14, 2012 the world welcomed Scarlett Breen, 7.6 lb.  21 inches.  It was also the release of a very special IPA brewed in honor of this beautiful baby girl (spoken like a true mother) Scarlett IPA.  Scarlett was born into a beautiful family and surrounded  by people that love her more than anything in this world.  The stresses of having a newborn at home can be overwhelming at times.  I was very lucky to have the support and love of a wonderful husband. Before I left for maternity leave,  I was given the opputority by the Brewer (Danny Wilson) and the owner of the Brewery (Sean O’Brein) to design a beer and give 10% of the proceeds  away to a charity of my choice.    After much thought, I decided on the Latimer House of Grand Junction, CO.  One in every four women will experience domestic violence once in their lifetime.  The Latimer House provides shelter and counseling  to abused women and children.  If you are or know someone suffering from abuse please call the 24 hour hotline at 970-241-6704
